The temp was in the upper 50’s today. Very nice! Lyn worked today for the first time since Claire was born. It was my first time by myself with both girls. Everything went pretty good. When Lyn got home I took off for a ride with Jason in the backyard. It was more of a social ride. You need those every now and then. Here’s our ride:
- Nice easy pace to 5 points
- Fantastic decent down Ingles Field
- Down Wolf Branch
- Jason somehow bends the springs that hold his rear brake pads
- Work on the side of the trail trying to fix rear brake
- A girl stops to see if we need help. Laugh we say “you don’t by any chance have some pliers”. She says yes. Turns out she is a fire fighter. She works with a friend of mine.
- Jason works for about 20 minutes on brakes to final realize he will be riding with no rear brake.
– We continue our ride for about 20 minutes
– Run across more friends. Stop and talk for awhile
– Continue ride for another 10 minutes
– Stop and talk to more friends
– Continue ride for another 20 minutes
– Stop and talk to Gabe
– Head to the house laughing at our social ride.
