James went to the first Cross Crusade race at Alpenrose.....over 100+ registered racers!
Are you running tubulars?
Cross is growing. We had last week over 110 racers registered at the MSG. Only about 3 years ago there would maybe be 30 or 40 racers. This Saturdays race in TN and Sundays race in NC should be big. There is talk that almost 200 racers will show for the NC race.
Tubulars are not for me. Not that they are not the best thing to run for cross. I'm just not serious enough for the headache and learning how to glue tires.
I just looked on the Cross Crusade website and they had almost 100 riders in a few different categories. It looked like they had well over 300 plus total riders. That's amazing numbers!
I think that the first race they had 1000+ riders across the board. The last number that I saw was 1078 and at the race last weekend they had 906 racers. Crazy!
I meant to type 1000+ but I forgot my extra zero.
That's is freaking amazing! Brad are you getting into the mix?
No racing for me. Off road riding really puts a strain on the old back and knee...I need to get out to a race this year just to check it out, but not sure when that will happen.
